Annual ASNT-GLAS Sweethearts/Family/Friends/Co-workers/Scholars Night

A Night to Remember in a “Field of Dreams”: Saturday, June 15, 2013

In the exclusive Dodger Stadium Club, on a non-game day, (so we’ll pretty much have the ballpark to ourselves), including a Private Group Stadium Tour (field, dugout club, press box, etc.!)

5pm-8pm:  Reception with awesome complimentary Dodger appetizer stations (gourmet flavored popcorns, giant soft hand-carved pretzels with handmade toppings available, warm ballpark peanuts,* fresh fruit and berries), cash bar, baseball and Dodger-themed music, and, of course, the grand Dodger Stadium Tour! (Choice of tour at 5:30 or 6:45; tour is 60-80 minutes and is wheelchair accessible.)**

8pm-10pm: Banquet (with Dodger Dogs (including vegan dogs!),*** Caesar and Italian chopped salads, Italian sausages, grilled chicken, cole slaw, cookies, brownies, Cracker Jacks,* tea and coffee), Sponsor/Donor/Teacher/Board Recognition, Student Scholarships, Lifetime Service Award to Jim and Linda Davis, Door Prizes and Raffle

10pm-11pm: Music and Dancing!

Free Raffle Ticket for wearing blue and for each Dodger apparel item worn!

Mature kids, especially ones who like baseball or the Dodgers, are more than welcome!

Tables of 8 or 10 can be reserved!

$50/person (6/11/13 Update: Tickets can still be reserved and purchased by email or phone and will be held for you at our check-in table Sat. night! Tickets MAY be available for purchase Sat., but please reserve to make sure!)

Free parking too! (“Frank McCourt Parking Lots Inc.” won’t get any of our ASNT money!) Enter via the main “Sunset Gate” above Sunset Blvd at Stadium Way & Elysian Park Blvd and proceed to Lot L beside the Stadium Club.

*If you or a guest of yours has a severe peanut dust allergy, or other severe food allergy triggered by mere presence or vicinity, please let us know so that we can accommodate you. We want you or that person to still be able to come to our special night.

**Unfortunately Dodger Stadium doesn’t provide wheelchairs for the mobility-impaired. Patrons must bring their own.

*** Let us know if you and/or your guest(s) would like vegan dogs so we know how many to order!

Special (Updated !) Note to our Sponsors and Donors: (6/11/13 Update: Please consider giving! We need the help! It’s not too late! You can even bring or write a check Saturday night and we will still honor (and advertise for) you just the same, including in the July SPEAKS newsletter!) In order to make this special night possible and affordable at just $50/person (actual cost will likely exceed $90/person), and to launch a comprehensive scholarship program by providing at least five $1000 scholarships to deserving ASNT-GLAS students (with plaques and complimentary tickets for the night for the recipients and their guests), we really are hoping Sponsors and Donors will help out and “step up to the plate,” to use the baseball metaphor. ;-) (including bringing along Raffle prize donations!)
